[속보] Ubi소프트가 해킹당했답니다, 암호를 바꿔주세요.
한국시간 7월 3일 오전 5시. Ubi소프트에서 메일이 날라왔습니다.
레이맨으로 유명한 회사이자, AMD가 '뿌린' 파크라이3 정품유저라면 친숙한 회사일 겁니다. 게임제작사이자 유통사로 스팀처럼 게임을 온라인으로도 판매하는 곳이죠.
개인정보에 해당하는 부분만 제외하고 메일 전문을 옮기면 아래와 같습니다.

We recently found that one of our Web sites was exploited to gain unauthorised access to some of our online systems. We instantly took steps to close off this access, investigate the incident and begin restoring the integrity of any compromised systems.
During this process, we learned that data had been illegally accessed from our account database, including user names, email addresses and encrypted passwords. Please note that no personal payment information is stored with Ubisoft, meaning your debit/credit card information was safe from this intrusion.

괜찮은 가격의 딜이라도 보내줬나했더니 모닝메일치고 달갑지 않은 내용으로 자사의 데이타 베이스가 유출되었으며 여기에는 사용자 이름, 이메일 주소, 암호화된 비밀번호가 포함된다고 합니다.
불행중 다행은 결제관련 정보가 안전하다는 정도?!
고객에게 적시에 고지하는만큼 해킹 당한것을 숨기는 일부 국내업체보단 훨씬 양심적이지만 그래도 씁쓸하네요.
해당 이메일의 제목은 "Security update regarding your Ubisoft account "이며 보낸 사람은 "email_ubi@email.ubi.com" 핫메일 보안필터에 따르면 낚시메일은 아닙니다. 제가 보기에도 주소는 멀쩡하구요.
ubisoft의 uplay이용자는 메일함 한번 확인해보시고 비밀번호를 바꿔주시면 되겠습니다.
또한 같은 비밀번호를 사용하는 사이트도 함께 바꿔주라고 권고하는만큼 번거롭더라도 타 사이트도 확인해보세요.
암호화된 비밀번호가 나갔다고하지만, 사실 시간문제니까요.
특히 이메일암호가 동일하다면 반드시 바꿔주시기 바랍니다.

- 꽤 대규모해킹을 당했나봅니다. ubi.com에서 일반적인 컨텐츠나 게임관련 서비스 다 닫아놓고 암호변경페이지만 열여놓고 있습니다.
